Thanks for a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. The property is a through back in time in a great way. You can curl up in front of the fire and feel totally secluded and still walk to town in under 5 min. The property was clean, well maintained and instructions for everything including menus from local restaurants!

Perfection!

Comfortable and cozy stay! We had a wonderful experience at this cozy cabin up in the mountains. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth and easy and the rental company was very responsive via text and email. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with linens, towels, toilet paper, and kitchen supplies. The lighting in the cabin was a little dark and there was some sound transference between floors, but it was the perfect space for our group. The area is quiet and beautiful with kind neighbors who welcomed us and brought us a dozen fresh eggs from their hens. The cabin is about 15min from the nearest town and 45min from downtown Asheville. It is located on mountain roads that are a little harrowing if you arrive after sunset, but once we got used to it and took the roads slowly, we didn't have any problems. The second driveway is VERY steep, but the first driveway can fit two small sedans. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this spot for a fall getaway.

Great location! Quaint, very private cabin in an outstanding location. It's a very short walk away from the lakeshore and also a great jump-off point for great hiking trips in the area. Shopping is close too!

Nice house within a short walk from the lake.Ov erall, a very nice house with a welcoming back windowed-in sitting room. The house had everything you could ask for in a rental, and the owners put some extra, thoughtful touches in the house. The house is a short/moderate walk to get to the lake. The house is close to the main road and you can hear cars pass by, but the brick house does block out some of that noise.

Group trip, super clean, great viewscould stay there the whole time and be just happy with everything.

Stayed with kids. Our stay at this cabin was wonderful. Plenty of room for a party of 6. The back porch swing, view, and mountain air were out of this world. Toys for the kids was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay in the Great Smokey Mountains!

September 2021 Ended up taking a spontaneous trip to Clyde, NC after plans fell through and Paula and Suzanne were absolutely wonderful in assisting us with our cabin rental. This was my first cabin adventure and now certainly not the last. The perfect place to disconnect in nature. The Great Smoky Mountains are a short drive with so many hikes and trails to explore. If youre looking for something more lively, you can head to Asheville for breweries and live music! Thank you for still giving us an amazing tranquil getaway. I cant wait to return again. Beautiful home, well maintained, and extremely clean. We enjoyed looking at all the family pictures throughout the house. It was obviously a well loved home.

Mountain Stay. Property was perfect for our group of friends. Was a good base camp for our exploration of Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway area. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax.
