Great support/communication during power outage.

Lovely Hideaway. This is a lovely large house with ample space for an extended family to stay. It is nicely tucked away and you have a sense of being secluded, even though there are other properties that are near by (though not visible from the house). It is exactly as pictured with one exception-the gardens by the back fire pit are filled with gorgeous flowers in the summer!

The location was wonderful and not having AC was a non-issue, As I was here on a workcation, the Wi-Fi access was great, Also, communication with the host was good. They were quite responsive. read less Bill, Orlando, FL

Wonderful stay! Everything was great. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We all had our own bathrooms and bedrooms, including the kids. The view was awesome. Make sure you get up one morning early enough to watch the sunrise, it comes up right over the mountain range that you can view from the deck. Lots of butterflies in the garden on the lower level and so many different sounds of birds in the early morning and evening. It was far enough away from town to really feel like you were in the middle of nowhere but a short trip to town. The only thing I can say, is prepare yourself for the driveway. It wasnt bad after a couple of trips up and down, but if you arent used to something like that, it can be a little intimidating!

Every team member I had the pleasure of speaking with was incredibly friendly. They answered all my questions and were very accommodating when we were forced to check in a day later than anticipated. I was even emailed an adorable picture of a mama bear and two cubs before arrival to let us know we should be careful with the dogs outside. (We did get to see the bears a little ways down the hill!)

It was wonderful and relaxing and I hated to leave!

Paula was wonderful! She was quick to respond to questions with suggestions! Her messages were helpful and friendly! I felt comfortable contacting her when and if needed.

Our family: both sets of grandparents, the parents of our 2 grandkids, who is 4 years old and 9 months oldall had the most wonderful time! Smiles and laughter, joy and peace were felt the whole time. With all of us experiencing working through the pandemic it was a welcoming comfort to relax at such a wonderful mountain home and enjoy the gifts God provides in the beauty of NC mountains!

Vacation in this home! We enjoyed our time here at your house. Clean and big enough to not step all over your family. We had difficulty accessing the home initially. We couldnt get the code to open the door even though the realtor could see on their end that the door did open. They have a spare key and was given the code. We entered that way and we never had any other problems with the keypad. The only thing I would recommend is more seating on the deck. The home was a great place for our vacation and if you love sunrises this is the home to watch them.

We really enjoyed this cabin. Nestled in the woods with a fire pit. It was easy to get to, no steep roads. Located about 1 hour from the GSMR and 45 minutes from the Hartford TN location for rafting with young kids. We spent some time Waynesville which was about 30 minutes away with great restaurants. We ate at Sauced and the food was great. The cabin was clean, great internet, and supplies. Wendy

Beautiful location for Great Smoky Mt Getaway. The home is in great condition and we LOVED the front deck, where you can relax to the music of the creek that runs through Maggie Valley, right across the neighborhood street. It was more peaceful, being in a neighborhood, than we anticipated. My 13 year old animal lover really enjoyed watching the family of groundhogs that live across the road. They climbed up in the rocker on the porch of that house like they owned it! So cute. The property managers were super nice. We discovered a miscommunication issue at check-in, and they did everything in their power to make it right, also providing lots of good advice on local hikes and bluegrass music opportunities, two things we were wanting to enjoy. If we ever get the chance to come back to the area, this home would be our first choice to return to!

Your team is awesome this is our second stay. Paula is wonderful and was very helpful and responsive on any and all questions. She gave us some great tips for dining.

The house is wonderful. The only complaint I would have would be all the doors opening into the hallway. I think if I owned the unit I would consider either having that basement door changed to open toward the stairs or put a sliding barn door there. You could do that on the bath too and alleviate all the doors either hitting or people getting hit as people come up from the basement.

You can expect amazing views and a spacious, wonderful home to spend in the mountains. The bottom bedroom isnt a bedroom with doors for privacy, and it opens directly to the den area with the tv. Bring your own logs for the firepit outside! The WiFi worked well inside for my friends and I to log onto our school website and watch video lectures when we stayed in after our long hikes. One strange thing was the foosball table was set up backwards! Overall would highly recommend visiting for the beautiful views, clean home, and great sleeping arrangements.

This property is such a great location with an beautiful view. The property manager was very personable and responsive. We mentioned one need and it was on our porch soon after.
