Hillside Hideaway is a like-new garage apartment with an open floor plan. It features a split bedroom design, vaulted ceilings, Wi-Fi, central air/heat, washer & dryer, smart lock for keyless entry, and is dog friendly.  Each bedroom has it's own en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination. This sunny and bright second floor apartment has a tree house feel.  Enjoy the many activities that Lake Junaluska has to offer, including tennis, mini-golf, kayaking, canoeing, outdoor pool and walking trails.  This rental has approximately 20 steps to reach the second floor. 


A well-behaved dog may be permitted by the owner, provided the dog is crated when left alone. We also require that dogs not be allowed on all beds and furniture nor scratching flooring and crated when left alone. Provided towels and linens are NOT for pet use, please be a responsible pet owner; pet owners who do not follow the rules are subject to additional cleaning fee.  Respecting these guidelines enables us to continue to offer a home for pets and their families.   A non-refundable pet fee of $150 is required prior to arrival.  Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog and an additional pet fee will be required to be paid.  We will request the additional monies after the reservation is confirmed.

If any pet is brought to the premises without receiving prior approval and/or the $150 per pet fee being paid, you will be charged a $500 pet penalty for each unauthorized pet and subject to being asked to leave immediately.


This property is managed by a North Carolina Real Estate Firm.  You will receive a North Carolina Vacation Rental Agreement from our Reservation system that must be signed as part of this agreement.

 We strongly recommend our guests come prepared for inclement weather. Often mountain roads can become impassable from heavy snowfall. We encourage our guests to be prepared with extra supplies such as food/beverages etc. We do recommend 4WD or AWD for most properties.
Do not attempt to maneuver around mountain roads if you are not familiar with how to operate a vehicle in the snow or a vehicle with tire chains in the snow. Please observe local weather advisement guidelines.

NO fireworks are permitted on the premises as this is a safety and forest fire hazard
