Begin and end the day in the hot tub watching the sunrise and sunset.....you won't be disappointed! Enjoy gorgeous views while sitting outside on the brand new, large deck that surrounds the house, sit inside by the fire or lounge in the loft with a good book. Cathedral ceilings and a huge expanse of glass doors and windows bring the outside in. The kitchen is equipped with brand new quartz countertops and all new appliances. The elegant interior is a beautiful wood filled space that is sure to please any guest.
You can do as much or as little as you please while on vacation. A Ridge View is located off Hemphill Road on the way to The Swag and Purchase Knob, on the border of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina provide abundant recreational opportunities. You can enjoy the adventures of white water rafting, horseback riding, elk watching at Cataloochee, water tubing, swimming and scenic biking and hiking.
Make your vacation as relaxing as you wish with a leisurely game of golf, an afternoon of fishing, a gem-mining excursion, a day of sightseeing at the Biltmore Estate, the Grove Park Inn, touring Asheville or one of the many wineries or breweries in the area. There is always activity in historic downtown Waynesville. Those looking for a little more excitement may try their luck at Harrah's Cherokee Casino or take the entire family exploring in Cherokee.

IF ANY PET IS BROUGHT TO THE PREMISES WITHOUT RECEIVING PRIOR APPROVAL AND/OR THE $150 PER PET FEE BEING PAID, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $500 PET PENALTY FOR EACH UNAUTHORIZED PET AND SUBJECT TO BEING ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!
- 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The house sleeps 6 comfortably.
- Hot tub on the deck and jetted tub in the primary bath
- Beautiful wood-burning stone fireplace (please provide your own firewood)
- Ground floor primary bedroom with king bed and en-suite bath
- Two bedrooms upstairs; one with queen bed and the other with two twin beds
- Cook a lot or a little; the kitchen is well equipped (microwave, icemaker, dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker (regular), blender, toaster, full place settings for ten)
- Central heat and air conditioning
- High speed internet
- Clothes washer and dryer
- Charcoal grill
- 3 TVs with satellite, ROKU and DVD player
4WD or AWD is highly recommended in the winter months
We STRONGLY recommend our guests come prepared for inclement weather. Often mountain roads can become impassable from heavy snowfall. We encourage our guests to be prepared with extra supplies such as food/beverages etc. We do recommend 4WD for most properties.
Do not attempt to maneuver around mountain roads if you are not familiar with how to operate a vehicle in the snow or a vehicle with tire chains in the snow. Please observe local weather advisement guidelines.
NO GLASSWARE OR BOTTLES are permitted in or around the hot tub nor any bathbombs, additives etc are to be used in hot tubs.
NO fireworks are permitted on the premises as this is a safety and forest fire hazard.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay SO much. We were pleasantly surprised once we walked in the home. The road leading up to the property was pretty steep at times, but nothing our truck couldn't handle. The view was wonderful as well. The house was VERY clean and provided everything we needed (pots, pans, silverware, even some bathroom items, cleaning items, extra chargers, beach towels). The hot tub was a GREAT feature as well and was very nice and maintained very well. The main suite bed was very comfortable. The only thing we would have on our wish list for next time would maybe be bigger TVs. Television is one of the ways we like to "escape". Other than that, everything was pretty much perfect. The house was also in the perfect spot between Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Nothing more than a 15min drive to go do something or head to the grocery store and 10 min of that was just getting off the mountain, so it wasn't an inconvenience at all. Also, the WiFi was awesome. We never had any issue getting service for making phone calls/receiving and sending texts. I really can't wait to come back again to stay. It was probably one of the best rental properties we've stayed in.
