We had an awesome time staying at this cabin. Loved feeling surrounded by the sounds of nature only. The place is remote but close enough to your essentials, like a brand new Publix. We drove to a few really cool hiking and water rafting places near by. Our kids loved the place, playing outside and sitting by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. Wish we could have stayed longer. Truly a special experience! Favorite feature:The fire pit outside !!! Activities: Hiking, water rafting, nature related

This cabin is a gem. Nestled in wonderful quiet woods with neighbors a nice distance away, it's a lovely get-away spot. Our trip in late October offered beautiful fall leaves and lovely hiking weather. The house was perfect to come home to and build a fire in the fireplace and cook a simple meal in the very stocked kitchen (including a brand new fridge, stove and even a crock pot!) Lots of comfy furniture, nice beds and a lovely porch swing and chairs give lots of places for relaxing. It is a 15 minute drive down into the nearest town, so bring your own morning coffee/tea. Wifi worked well. Perfect spot to go to lots of hiking spots nearby (Pisgah was a fav.) Come enjoy the beauty of the Smokies in this idyllic cabin! (Oh, and yes, there's a big TV, but we didn't have inclination to use it.)

This property is located in a rural area - nice and quiet! Although I've visited the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area many times, I had never driven through the Clyde/Canton area - lots of open, scenic farmland made the drive to and from the cabin enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again - many thanks to the owner for sharing this beautiful retreat!

Remote & Peaceful, Its perfect for those who really want to get away from everything. Located nearly at the top of the mountain, Neighboring homes are not that close, so it is private. Home is nicely decorated, and the Wi-Fi works extremely well. It made for a great relaxing week exclamation po!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Too cold to have an outdoor fire at the pit, but we did enjoy the indoor fireplace. The long drive to get to the cabin was actually my favorite part. The valley is absolutely lovely.

Comfortable and cozy stay!
We had a wonderful experience at this cozy cabin up in the mountains. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth and easy and the rental company was very responsive via text and email. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with linens, towels, toilet paper, and kitchen supplies. The lighting in the cabin was a little dark and there was some sound transference between floors, but it was the perfect space for our group. The area is quiet and beautiful with kind neighbors who welcomed us and brought us a dozen fresh eggs from their hens. The cabin is about 15min from the nearest town and 45min from downtown Asheville. It is located on mountain roads that are a little harrowing if you arrive after sunset, but once we got used to it and took the roads slowly, we didn't have any problems. The second driveway is VERY steep, but the first driveway can fit two small sedans. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this spot for a fall getaway.

Ended up taking a spontaneous trip to Clyde, NC after plans fell through and Paula and Suzanne were absolutely wonderful in assisting us with our cabin rental. This was my first cabin adventure and now certainly not the last. The perfect place to disconnect in nature. The Great Smoky Mountains are a short drive with so many hikes and trails to explore. If youre looking for something more lively, you can head to Asheville for breweries and live music! Thank you for still giving us an amazing tranquil getaway. I cant wait to return again.

We really enjoyed this cabin. Nestled in the woods with a fire pit. It was easy to get to, no steep roads. Located about 1 hour from the GSMR and 45 minutes from the Hartford TN location for rafting with young kids. We spent some time Waynesville which was about 30 minutes away with great restaurants. We ate at Sauced and the food was great. The cabin was clean, great internet, and supplies.
