This home has a large kitchen and dining room with new quartz countertops, new appliances, a breakfast bar with 6 stools, and a dining room table large enough to seat 10 people. The living room features floor to ceiling windows looking out over the lake and a wood burning fireplace. The home sleeps 8 and can be combined with a one bedroom efficiency apartment on the lower level (The Allgood Apartment @ Lake Junluska) to sleep 10 comfortably. The large deck has two sitting areas and an outdoor table and chairs with unobstructed, panoramic views of the lake. Watch for bald eagles circling above and listen for ducks and Canada geese as you relax, dine, and enjoy the best that a mountain lake vacation can offer. This home is located in the heart of the Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center. All meeting spaces are a convenient 5 minute walk. An outdoor swimming pool, a large playground for children ages 2-10, canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, a mini-golf course, tennis courts, a basketball court, a gift shop with an ice cream counter, and a cafe are all within an easy walk. The walking trail around Lake Junaluska is directly accessible from the home. The Lake Junaluska Golf Course is a five-minute drive. An entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is a 10-minute drive. Downtown Asheville is 35 minutes away. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Cherokee are only 45 minutes away. We had a reservation for a home in Lake Junaluska for 12 people in July. We found out about two weeks prior to our trip that the rental house wasnt available because the owners were sick. I was out of the country at the time and panicked. No need to panic they found us a place in a few hours. I was amazed that they found a place that quick in the same area for 12 people.
They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. They were very thorough, sending updated contracts and texted us to make sure everything was OK when we arrived. I dealt with Paula, Tina and Rick. They were very professional and responded quickly.

The location was perfect, right on the lake for our family reunion. We enjoyed tubing, hiking, and walking around the lake.

Your team was over the top! Tina knows we have some serious health issues in our family, and she is working with us. So kind.. She really gets the importance of family in these reservations. Sunburst was there for us all the time. I was very impressed. And the home we rented was like heaven. We've booked it for next year. Lake Junaluska is a very special place for my family. Their service was exceptional.

No other word than FABULOUS!! Allgood home was the best home we've ever rented in Lake Junaluska. It was so relaxing to sit inside or outside and look at the lake and just let yourself truly relax.. Their home was nice and spacious.. great bedrooms and space for family. I can't say enough good things about All Good. Just don't lease when we have it!! My parents are 88, and they have been coming to LJ since they were in their teens. It's very special to them and as a result has become very special to our whole family. I even purchased a memory bench for them beside the chapel NOW for them to enjoy. My Dad is a past preacher and counselor, and his words of wisdom are on this plaque on the bench. He encourages people just by his smile... This was my gift to them.
Notes
We STRONGLY recommend our guests come prepared for inclement weather. Often mountain roads can become impassable from heavy snowfall. We encourage our guests to be prepared with extra supplies such as food/beverages etc. We do recommend 4WD or AWD for most properties.
Do not attempt to maneuver around mountain roads if you are not familiar with how to operate a vehicle in the snow or a vehicle with tire chains in the snow. Please observe local weather advisement guidelines.
NO fireworks are permitted on the premises as this is a safety and forest fire hazard
