The communication with Sunburst properties was always fast and personable. I felt confident that our lodging was ready and we received the check in information at the perfect time. It was very impressive, could not have been a better experience.

99% of this experience was perfection. The 1%, which is tiny, but important, is the picture associated with this is of the owners side of the house and their driveway. The lodging driveway is actually on the other side of the structure. This was a little awkward. Just a little better direction would be appreciated. This is not a complaint. Friendly, clean, generous accommodations for two people. Favorite feature: The location of the apartment above the garage gave us a sense of privacy. The deck was perfect for meals.

The host was very helpful from the day I booked it until I checked out. I will definitely be checking more of their properties in the future!

Great place for a big family and enough space for everyone. Lake Junaluska was the main attraction and very close to the house in walkable distance.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Mountain House. We were a group of seven celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary. The cabin was a perfect size for us and had everything we needed for an easy, comfortable stay. The views were incomparable, and we spent a lot of time out on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Beautiful home with stunning views! I highly recommend this home. It was exactly as described and the photos only touch the serface of the peaceful patios overlooking the long range of mountains in the distance. We absolutely loved our stay. The Chefs table in town was a lovely find. Top five restaurants for me. The location and surroundings were perfect.

Lovely, clean and efficient home. Would gladly stay there again. Well equipped kitchen, lots of comfortable seating. TV was great. Beds were great. All was really nice. One small thing: the steps up to the house is a full flight of stairs from the car to the door. No problem for us, but if you had mobility issues, it might not work. However, we loved the place with Great Hosts! We're planning to stay there again!

We had a major plumbing issue on a Sunday morning that was addressed immediately. We were very impressed with how quickly Sunburst responded and their concern for our issue. The Sunburst team always responded in a timely manner to any inquiry we had.

We love Fairway Mountain Retreat. We consider it our Summer home away from home! Favorite feature, location and view. Also like having 3 bedrooms and bathrooms with separate living areas.

Beautiful place. Not too difficult to get to. The creek was awesome for the kids and provided Nice ambiance with the sound. Cabin has lots of room. More than even described. Great for everyone to be together and separate and have some alone time if needed.

We had several questions after hours, and they were answered quickly and courteously by the team. Great communication with the company.

Mountain Retreat Vacation! Loved this house! The view from the front porch swing is what sold me. Interior furnishings a little dated, but very clean. Very accessible to main roads. Easy parking.Quiet neighborhood. I used the house as a base for visiting Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Biltmore, Asheville, Nantahala Outdoor Center. All a short drive.

Great place and perfect spot, we try to go every year, everything was perfect

This home was significantly more than the listing presented. The bedrooms are all large, tastefully presented, comfortable. There are three full bathrooms with great water pressure and temperature. The upstairs living room furniture has power recliners. There are four TVs. There is a loft with three twin beds not included in the beds listed that is fun to play in or for kids or sleep in (though it is significantly warmer up there and sits above the kitchen with an open wall towards the upstairs living room). The porch is wonderful, private, and quiet to sit on to view the ridge and nature. We were able to view lots of hummingbirds, a family of turkeys, and one black bear across the yard. The yard is something to enjoy from the porch, not an area to play in or explore if you have kids. It is steep on the side of a mountain. There is a small path towards the stream, but there was poison ivy mixed in the overgrowth on the steps and side of the paths.

Host was responsive and allowed flexible checkout when requested

This was one of the best accommodations we have stayed yet. Beautiful Cabin in serene and private location. Lots of room. Kitchen was well stocked. Deck is huge and has a dinning table where you can eat with sounds of creek flowing nearby. I recommend this property in a heartbeat.
